All PMs returned and image of the front element added to OP (thought I had uploaded this morning, sorry must remember to drink more coffee before I start posting) .
It is not new, I've had it for a couple years. Used it mostly for light indoor studio work. I'd rate it around 9-9.5/10...I'm sure buyers of some of my other gear will attest that I baby the hell out of my glass/bodies.
Ok, I'm a complete idiot...I went to box up the lens to get it ready for shipment and managed to elbow it off my desk. If fell about 3 ft to the floor and dented the front filter ring area. Nothing else was damaged but I spoke with Canon Service Center and they said it would be $98 to replace that front ring and do their normal (tune,clean,etc). I'm going to send it in early this week unless someone wants to purchase it as is (maybe you don't use filters often). I'm dropping the price $125 so that you could do the service later if you so choose.
So...$900 is the current price (+3% for PP).
PS: If you end up purchasing this lens as-is and send it in to Canon and the service is somehow more that the $98 then I'll cover whatever difference it is.

Yeah, it's really not that big of a deal, it must have hit just right on it (just my luck). Everything else is perfect. I'll be sending it in to Canon prob on Tuesday morning if I don't find a buyer at this bargain price.
