p.1 #1 · Urban Landscapes - Portland, OR

Maybe not the typical style of FM, but here's some work from the last few weeks for you all to take a look at. Mamiya 645AF + 80mm 2.8 AF + Fuji Pro 400H negative film + Epson v750. Just scored a 45mm 2.8 AF and a bunch of new film, looking forward to the next few weeks! Comments, questions, etc. all welcome.

Congratulations on the lens - keep on posting. Posting a little bit bigger might get better feedback. (800 longest side)

3 then 2 are best for me in this series.

4 the composition does not work for me. Is it about the fog or the parking lot? - it seems like too much tension between the two. For me this shot would work if you got close to one of the cars and had it fill 1/3 of the frame with the fog behind. But as is the composition is weak.

3 has nice lines converging into the center. It would be stronger with more horizontal length and less top and bottom to take better advantage of the lines. The square framing takes away from the lines.

2 the composition does not work at all for me. It feels like looking through a keyhole where all the lines lead out of the frame.

1 has nice lines but like 3 woudl be better with a longer horizon and more off top and bottom to better fit with the rectangle of the garage doors. This could be improved by cropping.

Thanks for sharing. i look forward to more. Scott

The first is my pick. It is a bit difrent and yet very simple and efective.
