This one goes back a couple of years. Never thought it was a keeper in color, but now in B&W I really like the feel of it, and the soft results (unsharp photography, anyone?) I got with the VR18-200 @f/11 actually work well with this subject.

Thanks. This one took a lot of work with layers to bring out that sky and not wash out the walls.

I don't know what the color version was like, but this one is really quite spectacular. Lovely image.

The details in the walls really add to the composition and you've done an excellent post-processing job to keep the image realistic.

Todd: I'm working on a blog entry that will show the color version... something about the merits of being a digital photo packrat.

Thanks, Scott: I did a lot of undo when the image was feeling over-cooked. Took me about 3 tries at it (3 hours) until I was happy with it.
