Lens is in brand new condition. I purchased this lens when I upgraded to a D700 thinking that I would need a telephoto lens. As it turns out the range isn't all that useful for what it is I shoot and my 24-70 is on my camera most of the time. Now that I have the 300mm 2.8 VR, and a 200mm F/2, it just sits in its case. I may withdraw my sale of the 200mm F/2 if this sells first.
Perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition. Focus ring is buttery smooth. Lens is extremely sharp wide open. Always had a 77mm B+W UV filter on it. All in all, a perfect copy of the lens.
