Nice! Where in FL is this?
Green Cay is an interesting spot. Its located in extreme western Delray/Boynton Beach, not far from the northernmost reach of the Everglades. Green Cay and a similar place, a mile or so away, Wakodahatchee Wetlands, are both man-made environments which recylcle water thru an artifical habitat. Both have boardwalked areas and have attracted large amounts and significant varieties of nesting and migrating birds, making it wonderful for nature photographers and birders. Alligators populate the waters along with turtles, ducks, wading birds, and anhinghas and cormorants spread their wings in the trees. If you get to Florida's southeast coast, these are places to see, other than Everglades NP, Viera Wetlands (havent been there), Merritt Island NWR.
