I went for a walk in the grasslands park near Kamloops recently to see if I could spot any sheep. In the short time I was there I only saw this ram and he was headed away from me, off into the bright sunshine. But he did come back to have one little look at me. I included the landscape to show what a beautiful place this is to walk even when nobody wants their picture took.
Mark that was just the kind of day it was, low November sun makes it hazy looking south and quite clear looking to the north. I am happy with the BG but I still wish I could have got around the other side of him. Believe me I tried.
That was a real nice gesture on the part of the Ram to turn around to give you that head on shot. The landscape has a rugged beauty to it which I enjoy when I am up in the high country.
It IS a beautiful area, Rob. I have photography friends who live in Osoyoos and that area is very reminiscent of the eastern Sierra Nevada, my favorite backpacking area. The landscape is a good "setting of place" shot, and I love the high-desert enviro in #1.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
Ken - I think he was interested in who was fool enough to climb up his hill.
Steve - It is very similar country to Osoyoos, but maybe not so dry.
