Feel like the turning pages are unnecessary and the distortion makes her face look very flat... This image probably shines on it's own without the page corners....

I love the metaphor, Marcelo!
This young, new life with only the unknown before her. What will each turning page and each new day bring?
Another wonderfully creative image!

The child is surrounded by silk and lace but that is no barrier against the winds of time which relentlessly turn the pages. The only thing to do is to enjoy each page.

Nice effect Marcelo. I truly didn't notice it at first, so captivating are the baby's eyes. I am a bit distracted by the fleshy thing to the back left of the head. I can't quite orient my mind to the body part. Overall, a great image.

A thought provoking image Marcrlo, all the episodes to come.

Not the typically cute baby pic. The treatment and clothing give this a Victorian feel. I'm not sure about the left arm being bisected by the cut in the page.

I like the image and the tones, the processing, but not sure I like the right bottom corner thing, it pulls my eye there trying to figure out whats going on there and its not clear enough of what you are trying to present there for me,, I know its suppose to be a turning page but the representation is not clear enough for me

Thanks ci5ic for your frankness, I appreciate your input.

BTW “she” is a plastic doll.

Thanks Sonja for your comment. Your words convey my feelings in a much more beautiful way than my image.
I do try to follow your thoughtful advice.

The doll was in a shop window with a very reflective glass, this was the best picture I could take.

Is this a real child, or a doll? I find it hard to tell.

The "modern" look of the design on the pacifier kind of ruins it for me. I also had a hard time telling if it was a doll or not.

Provacative image marcelo. However, I would use the "free transform" tool in photoshop and drag the bottom right corner down a little to the bottom right more. It feels to squashed in the upper left. But I really dig the flipping pages idea. Great creativity on your part and I feel it adds to the image.

Thank you for clarifying that this is a doll. The lifeless gaze of the eyes gave me the creeps.
Excellent lighting and tones.

I keep coming back to this one, but perhaps for different reasons than the others.
There is something about the lighting and the incredible alert intensity that makes this a powerful and compelling portrait. Great processing and capture, Marcelo.

I like everything about this.....except the flip page effect. I understand that it is a very important part of what the image is supposed to convey, just it takes away the attention from the weird, kind of eerie look of the baby.
The processing is flawless as usual Marcelo.
