Ok, thanks. So I did that, and another window opens saying-- "cancount.zip (109.14 KB)This file has been downloaded 9579 times."
So then what? Above, it says something about "pass it to Exe. . . ."
open the zip file (double click) and you will see the .exe file. drag that to your desktop. then you drag and drop a raw file from your camera on to the cancount icon. i dunno tho, i paid for cancount and that is a pilfered copy??
When you go to that link, look under the FREE SOFTWARE header and download the ''1D actuation counter''..... It is a zip file, as is the Cancount one I listed above if I'm not mistaken, so you need something like WINZIP to make them work on your computer. Once you have these downloaded, they are easy to use if you follow the instructions.
So when I save to desktop, then unzip, I get an cancount application, when I run/double click on it I get a black box showing a c>prompt, and 3lines above listing different models of cameras.
I can't get any further, If I drag the raw onto the desktop icon, it just goes into the file-folder, and shows the adress of the image file- c/desktop/ect. . . .
So, doesn't seem to be working for me. I must be missing something-however simple it seems. . . . . :-]
