over the Buffalo National River, at the Ponca landing, from the low water bridge.
We'd scouted this location earlier in the day, before going to Lost Valley, and I wanted to get here in time for last light. Nothing spectacular, but it was a very pleasant evening.
Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoy. Any comment welcome.
Very nicely done , Barry . Autumn colours here just about finished and trees scarce in those parts of Scotland I visited . Next year perhaps . Meanwhile , thanks for this pleasing and colourful interlude .
Beautiful Fall Colors here really like the soft light you have captured and the river acts very nicely as a leading line, glad you returned after scouting this gorgeous location out, very nicely seen Barry
A superbly serence scene. Lotsa nice elements here.....the sunlit ridge in the bg offset by the little tree towards the left that mimics the ridge's colors, the subdued autumn colors in the shaded areas offset by the pastel blue in the water. For a scene that doesn't have an obvious single subject, it has a lot of nice elements that work well together.
I think you've got a little headroom to punch up the color palette in the shaded area....especially that little yellow tree towards the lower left.
barry this is a beautiful scene as captured. Havn`t read other comments but have to believe that folks really enjoyed the autumnal shades. I know I do. Take care. Bob
