For 18+ months I struggled to print out of PS4 and Tiger on my MacPro with my Z3100. Everyone, including HP support, was entirely clueless. "Finally, I discussed my problems with a volume printer. He said use a PC version of PS because the adjustments/interface was much improved over Mac.
Since I also run Virtual Machine XP sessions (for vital PC only applications) it was easy enough to load an ancient Elements 3 into my virtual PC for a test before re-authorizing/reloading a full version of PS. Soon I was printing bleed edge and "more ink" "more time" higher IQ prints-impossible with the Mac Intel OS. No need for even a full PS version!!
