p.1 #1 · Toggling <> LR and PS...need help!!

I'm a relative noob to LR, so I'm sure this is a pretty basic issue.

I've played around with the LR trials for a year or so, and have recently decided to go for it. I downloaded the LR3beta and have learned to get around in it pretty well so far.

When I try to edit a photo in PSE7, it opens the editor window just fine...but there's no image there. Just a blank editor screen w/ nothing to edit.

I've spent the better part of the past 24 hrs going through all of the Adobe helps and other forums and can't find a specific answer to this issue.

What could I be doing wrong here??

Thanks in advance,

Donnie

LR3 beta to PS is buggy at the moment, primarily because there is no matching ACR version. You could try going to LR Preferences and pressing the Reset Warning Dialogs button, and if it brings up a dialog when you go to Edit in PS, press the Render using LR button.

Otherwise, what file type?

Hmmmm, I'd call that bugginess then.

Does it work with LR2? If not, you could try the solutions in this technote: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401629.html or set PSE7 as the secondary external editor in Preferences.

Thanks for your help.

My problem is not that the "edit" feature does not appear, which is what the fix is referring to. It opens up the editor just fine, it just doesn't have an image to tweak...weird.

I'll keep hunting around for an answer.

I do appreciate your effort.
