Pretty girl and some very nice images - but the tights were not a good idea

You finished this series with some gorgeous head shots - nicely lit and composed. They look great. There's a few nits to discuss, but in general - nice work.

The first part of your post in your "location" shoot. In general I notice two main things. First - busy backgrounds. Second - backgrounds are not lit, exept by the light that is lighting the model.
#2 & #9 are examples of the lack of background lighting. Her skirt disappears against the darkness behind her in #2 and in #9 her clothing disappears.
#3 & #4 are examples of the busy backgrounds. The exif in #4 says you took this at 9 AM or so, but it looks like a night shot. You got a dark background, due to your choice of exposure settings (f5.6 at 1/250).

#11 must be your best of this series. Notice how she is large in the frame and the background is lit somewhat, so her hair doesn't disappear? She has a nice smile and this is a good composition. Well done.
One last comment (too many comments and you won't remember them all. )
#12. The laws of physics are hurting you in that one. Her hands are closer to the light source than her face, so they are brighter. Too bright actually, and they not only look unnatural but the eye is drawn to them. Actually (and this is a different point) the entire left side of her face (viewer's right) is blown out. The hands too, of course. Notice how the skin looks white on her cheek?

Hope this is useful to you.

I really like #8 and numbers 11 and 12. But I also agree with Jim on the bright hands on #12.

Paul - Thanks. We were going to go for a completely different style of shoot with the tights, but still liked them as a different look.

Jim - Thanks for the great feedback. I only used a 580exII speedlight and an umbrella for the strobe shots in the series, so not a lot of options for my lighting. #5,6,12 were all natural light. I will move your ideas forward into my next shoot. Thanks again.

Tony - Thanks. I missed the hands in #12. Something I need to work on.

11,12, and 13 are all quite nice. Good poses and good lighting, though a little hot on
the hands in #12.

She is very attractive, but the striped stockings draw too much attention to themselves.
They work fine with the outfit, in general, but not so well in the photoshoot.

Trumpet - Glad to hear that the poses worked out. This and lighting is something that I have been trying to focus a lot of my attention on.

2, 9 and 11 are my picks. You can get away with the highlight clipping on the blouse, not on the face or hands.

I like the set, #8 stands out, but wish the branch was not in front of her. #11 is great, but would consider cropping the dark building on the right. Great job.
