p.2 #1 · Prairie Birds and a snake for zoom

N., that first shot... what a cutie B-owl. Lovely bokeh, pleasant golden light, though personally I would like to see the owl's left eye in the light as well but that's just my preference. Also I would probably take a little bit off of the left edge and either the top or bottom as well. Focus is spot on. The raised foot adds an extra point.

My favorites are also the HB shots. Nice touch with the yellow nectar at the base of its bill.

Well exposed images and with a beautiful light, chupacabra31. I like # 3 best. The rattle snake taken with a 55mm

You sure You didn't forget a couple of zero?

Nah I wish you could see the exif but its a nikkor 55mm macro f/2.8 oldie but goodie adapted to my 1dII.

The owl, gotta be the owl.. The pose makes the image especially on the slanted post. Cropping options get mitigated by the motion suggested in the image so I like it as is. If anything I might make the left eye just a tiny bit lighter. Nicely done
