Comes with plastic carrying case. The "II" version is made especially thin and can be used with wide-angle lenses. I bought this from BH Photo specifically for my Nikon 12-24 but sold it shortly after I went full frame so this filter has been stored in its case in my gear bag pretty much ever since.
