All are very good images. If I were to make any suggestions (and this would be nit-picking), on #1 I would have tried to move your angle just a bit more to the left so your back ground was only the river and the far off open space - this may be one I would not consider shooting low (did I say that?) to place more river and trees in the BG and not so much of the sky. The angle right now has some of the close trees in the upper left which don't do anything for the image.
....taking a 2nd look, I don't mind the angle and the closer trees to the left work fine. The distant BG would shoudltoo much grey and flat sky and probably not do anything for this image - ignore my statement above
in #5 you may have taken a 2nd image, but I would rather see the lead rider in about 2 seconds on the top f the hill and not cut off and the the trailing riders be the ones that are cut off behind the hill.
just some suggestions.
.....also I love that the pictures have a nice and warm tone to them, but the one with snow, the WB just seems a tad off?? maybe it's just monitor. You may try playing with the WB a bit on these to add just a tad bit more warmth to them or maybe it's too much of a purple hue??
Thanks guys. MK - I'll take a look at the #1 abit more with your suggestions in mind.. The image with the snow - I kept the WB cool because of the snow. I'll adjust the WB and re-post with comparisons for comments later. Just short on time at the moment - kiddo AM duty before daycare
