Just got back from a busy trip to Mono Lake and Yosemite. The colors were starting to fade by the end of the week...might be something else in some area, but a lot of wind and what not has rendered the majority of the tree leaveless.

here's a few shots from this past weekend on a workshop I was teaching with Stephen Oachs and the Aperture Academy.

#1 has exquisite light, i like #2 also - just wonder if there is some distortion in there or maybe the tufa is just bent like that. #3 is quite lovely and has lots of interesting detail.

I like the Mono Lake shot - very nice. The other two are pretty neat images as well but that second one is the winner for my eyes.
