Hi,

After reading a number of favorable recommendations on this forum and elsewhere, I'm about to buy an HP LP2475w monitor. The B&H price is $530 these days. When I found that listing, I noticed that they are also selling the same monitor for $425 as OB, which means "open box in mint condition with full manufacturer warranty." B&H has other categories for demo or used equipment, so this seems to be new, but just opened.

Has anyone here had experience buying B&H equipment in OB condition? If it has only been opened, it looks like a fast way to save more than a hundred bucks. I'd appreciate your experiences. Thanks!

I bought a Manfrotto 303Plus Pano head from B&H, which box had obviously been opened, and was missing the instruction manual and a little rubber cap that covered an ant-twist screw. A call to Customer Service and the parts were in my hands in about 1 week. Rarely a problem with B&H, and any are promptly resolved.

Oooh, you had me going there for a minute. Turns out B&H still had that one around, and I ordered it. Maybe they have more if somebody here is shopping for one?
