I usualy dont post here - more in the people forum but here goes. A friend of mine let me take some shots in a hotel that isnt finished yet - it will be open in about 2 months. I did the best i could, shooting with Canon 5D mark II and 16-35L lens and only ambient light.
Im happy with the shots i got but dislike some also. What is the best height to shoot interior? I seem to like the shots i got when i was kneeled down or just lower .. than the shots i was standing.
I would be gratefull for some critique and suggestions on how to improve the shots.
Good shots of a depressing place. Too sterile. Get some living persons to pose. and some interior decoration and at a minimum get the beds made. Then correct lens distortion and perspective to make vertical lines vertical.
The exposure, WB and DOF is "correct". I would however have preferred warmer and darker tones to give a more inviting feel to the shots.
