It seems that whenever I shoot Oklahoma State v Mizzou football we lose. I was not on top of my game for this shoot and i think i shot about as well as mizzou played. Though I think I have improved from almost exactly one year ago when I shot this match-up
Let me know how I did. I know one or two have horizons issues - i know that.
I was shooting with a D3 and a 200 f2 with a x1.4 extender. It was a weird setup that was a last resort.

I don't know...apart from the horizons in last years, I prefer them to this years as well. 2,3, and 4 of this years don't really do anything for me, but what do I know.

I'm on the fence about which set I like more, this or last years. I'm thinking that this year's photos look much more technically solid (more consistent and correct WB, better and more even exposures across the set) and the game action is better and shows great isolation of the subjects. The one thing that keeps drawing me back to last year's is probably the off-field stuff. That lead shot of the team waiting to enter through the smoke is killer. Also the non-jube shots at the end of last year's set really help finish telling the story.

What you did better last year... include lots of off-action images that added to the set, including some cool entrance shots.
What you did better this year... to me, the action is much better, really really good actually. Technically, this year's set is better too, with better color and WB, and also I like the framing of the shots better this year.
You've already mentioned you know that some of the horizons are off this year, which was apparently the #1 nit last year... #2 and #3 are the main culprits in this set, otherwise they don't seem too bad.

Very nice shots Dan...Just one question for ya. If you know the horizons have issues.. Why dont you fix them in PP before posting on the board? I've seen quite a few people talk about knowing their horizons are off in their prelude and I just don't get it.. I have watched your progression as a photographer and you are coming along very nicely. Keep up the good work!

100% laziness. I have the correct versions on my computer but they are the bigger files that i sent to the paper.
nothing more too it. I will start doing it from now on.
ON my HONOR. I will not post another crooked horizon on FM (unless it cannot be fixed without hurting the image)
