Well, Maxis42's post on Bosque this year got me going - I'm planning to go the week before thanksgiving, can't wait. Here are some from previous years, feel free to post yours:
Well, I couldn't wait until my planned trip later in November. Went out for the weekend. Not the great numbers I'm used to, but still, it's an awesome place regardless. Thanks for all the comments. These are from this past weekend:
Desert Drake: I think I'll jump in my truck and drive the 8 miles to get there.
If I only lived 8 miles from there I'd be there every morning at sunrise before coming to work! Who knows, I might get so excited I'd forget about work!

The numbers are getting better every day. I saw about 3000 snow geese this morning and last night saw around 2000+ sandhills fly in. It's going to be a heck of season if the numbers keep growing the way they are. Can't wait to get home and start processing my pics from this year...
