Ooohh my! I like #1 the best. The slight crossing of the eyes (from flipping half of the original horizontally, I think) and the burned look to the skin texture make for a good scary image. It looks unreal and yet real somehow. Now, how to make a mask out of that?
John
But JD, this is not a fair contest. You ended up close to where you started out. For most of us, we would have to do a LOT of Post Processing to get a scary picture. You only had to do a little bit of manipulation to get one (several) hellava scary picture.
Game over. You win.
PS.. Number 2 is scariest. To think this is natural. Ahhhhhh!! Mommmmyyyyyy!!
I didn't see the image, so I may have felt the same way. But, I would just like to say that because someone doesn't like Michelle Obama doesn't make them a racist. I think it is sad that people are scared to share their opinions about someone because they will be branded a racist. I don't like Michelle Obama and it is because, in my opinion, she made several very inappropriate comments during the campaign that make her very prejudiced in my opinion. If she had made those comments and been a white person making them against a minority, there would have been outrage. Somehow we have decided to give people a pass in this country for fear of how we may be labeled for our opinion. Again, this is totally off the topic at hand, I just think that we should open our eyes and hearts a little!!!

If you had read as many of Greg's posts as many of us have - you would feel the same way!
And we try - though we fail too often - to restrict the postings to photography. It is partly because of the influence of people like the now banned poster that we fail as often as we do.
