Amazing detail, very clean pictures! almost not from this world!
From how many shots are these composed? How do you focus from shot to shot, do you slide the camera forwards on a focussing rail? Do you leave magnification unaltered?
I am not that curious .... I am "burning" from curiosity!
Rob Think these around 10 shot focus stacks . I just have the flower on a curved sheet on a table and slide the camera forward on the table to take shots at the different focus points. I leave the focus/magnification alone.

Wow!
Don't tell me that you are just sliding the camera on the table not using a tripod, macroslider at all? Amazing!
So i can sell my tripods on e-Bay
Thanks for sharing!
Best regards,

Rob - fraid so. I actually find having the subject and the camera on the same surface makes for much more stable shooting setup. I don't think high magnification and tripods go together unless you have an odd set up where the subject is on a macro slider arm also attached to the tripod. ie you move the subject not the camera for the shots.
Thank you for your insight! I must admit that, even with single shooting (so not for stacking) at these high magnifications possible with the MPE-65, using a tripod and a macro sliding rail causes me a lot of trouble to get the shot right. I will try out your technique in the near future.
