Went out today for lunch and never went back. I'm gonna get fired for sure. But I did it all for you guys! ISO400, f/9 to f/10 for most, 1/1600s to 1/2000 for most. 400mm f5.6 (I don't know what happened to all the EXIF data. I hate PP photos. Haha!
Absolutely beautiful! Mine comes tomorrow morning... all I need is to borrow your talent to make it work. Thanks for sharing and hope the boss understands...
Great collection Conrad well done have you tried to focus track with your lens wide open at 5.6? Do you have faster lenses like 300 2.8 or 200 2.8 if you do lets us know how focus tracking is with them. Don't do it during your work hours

Thanks Garen! I have not tried at f/5.6 yet. I've got a 70-200 f/2.8 IS I could try it with and see how it does. And shooting hummers out of my window IS with my office door closed can count as work. I can say I'm searching for inspiration before I write my next project report!
I was wondering how you managed to be so lucky with the BCNHs in flight - - well that one shot sure explained it to me.
And if you get fired for us - - sorry I don't see anyone helping you pay the rent - - better get back to work.
Lil
Thank you Lil! This is a spot I love to go as these BCNH seem to have been here all year long. The water inlet is very narrow so one can get very close when they take flight. And there are soooooo many its tough to choose which one to point at.
Hehe.. I won't get fired. I've got a ton of paid-time-off coming. Thought this was as good of an excuse as any to use em!
