p.1 #1 · Red rock

Happy Tuesday Fred Mirandaers!!

I yet throw another picture for advice and critique. This is an old picture I found from a vacation to Red Rock canyon and it was taken with a 2mp p/s camera. You guys think I can do anything with it? a little crop somewhere?

You could try a duplicate layer with the Soft Light blending mode. You could play with a Vibrance adjustment layer. You could crop from the bottom and right side. Such changes would make the image more colorful and less bland, but in the end, to me it lacks interest. If it was mine, I wouldn't bother unless it had some sort of personal or context value.

I'm with AuntiPode on this. You could give it a play, but just not enough focal interest to work IMHO.
A more interesting sky, a closer look at the red rock with some additional foreground interest, some objects for better sense of scale all might improve the composition.

Canonbro I think this composition has problems. If the image is about the red rock
concentrate on what matters.

I think a tighter shot would work for something like these rocks if you don't have the kind of interesting sky that Greg added in.
