Looking for a recommendation for a nice quality CD presentation box to give to every wedding client to store their proof CD in, Spicer Hallfield seemed to do some decent stuff but they've fallen victim to the "credit crunch" so that's ok.
Mario Acerbone do a really nice leather one for about £20, which is ok for my full res DVD purchase as I'll swallow up the price, but too much to justify for EVERY wedding.
MA also do a little 7"x5" box for storing proofs that could work but looks quite cheap to me, I'd rather give nothing than something low quality.
So basically I'm looking for something around the £5 mark, big enough to store a CD in, I don't mind if it's not lined, I'm happy to get in some fancy paper to line the box with or something like that, just needs to look nice enough to portray a decent image.
They come with an overlay for the inside of the case though I don't use it, price is right, looks nice.
I think Spicers fell foul more of Graphistudio than the credit crunch, they adapted very slowly and unwillingly. I wasn't surprised that they didn't make it.
Chris, have a look at Warehouse Video Services site. I`ve used their single and double `Prestigious` cases and they`re pretty good. They also do a metal case which i haven`t tried but might be worth a punt. Sorry, i don`t know how to post a link.

Yes, thanks Alex, I've seen your solution on the blog, but it doesn't help me on where to obtain them
Ah well that's because it's all hand made...
Box is from Paperchase along with the lining
CD case is made with paper from paperchase and WH Smiths along with some standard mountboard
Blue Ribbon and Tissuepaper is from John Lewis.
All in all takes me about an hour to put together and costs about £5.
You're obviously more feminine and crafty than I then, if I tried to do that it'd look like a 6 year old's christmas present to mum and dad, the one they pretend to love but then "lose" 6 months later.
Yeah....giving me a scalpel...that won't result in me no longer having a shutter button finger or anything.......I can just about rewire a plug without blowing myself up, and that's my limit.
