p.1 #1 · 1dm3 shutter button

My 1dm3 seems to have a different shutter button "feeling", "release" point with the portrait/landscape buttons. Therefore there is a difference in controlling them.

Is this a familiar to users? I will probably again have to go back to canon....

I've owned seven 1-series cameras going back to the original 1D. They have all had a vertical grip shutter button that was much more sensitive than the horizontal one. Some users have reported that Canon can make adjustments to the vertical button.

Frankly, I've never had an issue adjusting to the feel between the two buttons.

The vertical button is way faster than the horizontal.

The problem is that you lose time between focussing.

I've exchanged a 1dm3 after a week for another one because of an opened manuel sealing. Probably it was a demo or refurbed one This one had no difference.

It works fine except for this noticeable difference..

Hair triggered is perfect for me. I wondered why the horizontal doesn't react hair triggered
