p.1 #1 · Take it for what it's worth

Another entry at Canonrumors.com below about a 7D being in the Best Buys system.
Note I called a local Best Buys in the Seattle, WA area gave them both 7D UPC's and canon model #'s she looked and looked but nothing showed up at the store level.

Ray Still

"Here are the unedited emails I received today
“Hey, checked things out at work and the Best Buy inventory system has the 7D in it. The body is listed at $2699.99 with a UPC of 013803117493 and the canon model number of 3814B004. The kit with a EF 28-135, which seems strange to me is selling for $2899.99 and has a model of 3814B010 UPC of 013803117530. The price seems to match the lens compared to the body."

For someone waiting to get back into DSLR's, the rumors are killing me.

Same price point as the 5D2? Maybe 1.3 with 19 point vs the FF with 9 point? Rumors seem to be like rear ends right now, anyone's guess is as good as another.

Just sitting around waiting to see what drops, if nothing else Ill buy a 1Ds2 or MK2N until things shake out next summer.

and a UPC from August of 2008 shows a Canon 9D SLR

so.......basically it means nothing, just like all the other rumors, speculation, wish lists, "I heard..." and "this guy I know..."

Food for thought.. Best Buy, just today, mispriced a $3400 TV that was on sale for $1800 for $9.99
