p.1 #1 · blind: married in the city

Comment and Critique the following images. The blind approach is done so that posters can get a fair and honest assessment of their work regardless of their social standing in the forum.

No guessing who is in the thread.
Guessing 'jesus' on the first post could sway the outcome of the thread. It will be up to the photographer to 'out' him/herself when and if they feel its appropriate.

Excellent set! I also thought I recognised someone's style...

The only thing that bothered me was the bride's pose in #5 on the left. It doesn't compliment her figure.

Some of the best stuff I've seen here, no fad gimmicks, just good photography.
Focus is spot on, exposures couldn't be better.

Awesome set. I tried hard to find something to critique but the best I could come up with is that quite a few seem to have blown highlights.

I agree with those who say solid photography all the way around. I could nitpick that the bride's dress looks a little blown out on the first shot of the bouquet throw (left side), but still love it. Nice pop to the colors without being overcooked and lots of upbeat emotion, which is what I love about weddings.

Ok... I'm just going to quit photography after seeing that set. Really very well done.

Like someone else said - no fads, presets, over-the-top actions, etc. Just great photography.

Seriously solid. The whole way through. Great composition, use of the elements within the photos. Very nice mix of black and white and color. Nothing trendy, just timeless work.

Some really nice stuff here. The only thing that bothers me is the cold flash in the outdoor shots, other then that. cool stuff!

Great variety of shots, excellent storytelling, as many have said, solid skills without faddish pp. Some very good conversions.
And thank you for helping to keep the blind posts alive!

Any chance of some numbers on the pics?

Good stuff. I would have gelled the last few outdoors at night so that the flash temp was the same as the ambient street lights.

I think it sucks, where did you learn to compose a shot? It looks like a heroin addict with the DTs was holding the camera clenched in his bottom.
