I'd be interested if I knew which version these were. Blue or black body, Plus or Plus IIs. Photos would help!

Black bodies...they are Plus. Just like these, but less expensive.

What's the difference between the plus and plus II's? Range? I assume their triggering abilities are the same and that a plus will trigger a plus II and vice versa assuming you have a transmitter and receiver on the right ends.

The Plus is a dedicated transmitter and receiver. The Plus II's are transceivers, meaning it can be either a transmitter or a receiver. The Pluses were sold in pairs, the Plus II's are sold singly. They both have 4 channels, the range is the same (if I'm not mistaken) and each will work with the other. In other words, a Plus transmitter will trigger a Plus II transceiver, and a Plus II transceiver will trigger a Plus receiver. I hope this helps.

Yeah, I just looked again and noticed that the nontransceiver PWs are pluses only. I should have caught that. Thanks for the explanation.

I was 99.99999% sure, however, they all worked with each other anyway just as their website says.
