Admittedly, I need to learn more about bloging -but that's part of the reason why I'm posting here. I've seen some nice photo blog sites done with Wordpress, but I'm wondering if something like Pixelpost(which seems to be more geared to photo blogging) is better - and easier to set up. Does anyone here have experience with both?
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Pixelpost was built for photo blogging, and I think it works wonderfully. Now if they would just fold in the permalink features from Wordpress, it would be just about perfect.
All of the photo centric wordpress templates I have tried seem to slow the whole works down a lot. It may look nice, but I wasn't happy with the speed hit.
Setup is about the same on either.

ProPhoto is a bit expensive for a WordPress theme, but I guess if you have no design or coding experience whatsoever, it could be worth it.
ouch I didnt even see the price at all. I gotta agree its expensive all right. How about Thesis Wordpress template. Almost half the price of ProPhoto and finely tuned for SEO.
Started with Blogger but quickly switched to Wordpress. Couldn't be happier. Much more configurable and customizable and so far, very stable. Lots of free themes as well. Love Wordpress.
