I was just wondering if you can use that on the 055CXPRO3 leg seeing as people have been saying that these two legs are pretty much identical apart from the material.
To further strengthen my point, Manfrotto also makes a similar cup/spike addon that fits the whole range of 190X, 190CX as well as the 055CXPRO4 leg.
Any thoughts on this?
While we're on the subject of carbon fiber tripod, does anyone have a suggestion on a CF tripod leg around the same price as the 055CXPRO3? Around US$300-400? Slightly over or less is fine. I'm just asking since that leg lacks hook for bag and spike feet. Cheers all.
Unfortunately, I have no experience with the tripods you listed, but I did order that set just to get replacement cups for my two Manfrotto Neotec monopods. I just threw the left over spiked feet away.
I only comment on this because it would make sense that Manfrotto manufacture some 'universal' type parts that fit on a wide variety of mono/tripods. I for one would think they would work for your application.
