Greetings all. Here are a couple more photographs from up in the northern lower peninsula. There is such a diversity of photo ops to be had here. The second doesn't exactly qualify as landscape, but I liked it enough to share anyways. Thanks for looking, and any and all criticisms are welcome.
Oh, and I just want to take a moment to say I really appreciate this forum and the input I have received on my own pics as well as what I can glean from other peoples' posts. This is a fine fine board.
Thanks for the critiques, Barry. I agree that the first is good in a sense, but it doesn't have that "extra" feeling/touch/emotion it needs to be great. It's only a scene.
I like the feeling the second shot gives off, but you brought up a good point with the DOF ... I hope I keep it in mind with future shots of that sort.
