Very nice. These last 2 are my favorites I think, though I really like the last one best so far.
Maybe when you are done, you can do a thread showing all or a portion of the abstracts together? I do like seeing them individually at first, to enjoy each one for what it is, but it would be nice to view them as a set later.
Another good one, Ben, and you have a great eye for patterns, textures and colors that some of us don't always see and capture, but your images remind me to see the small picture.

Thanks a good idea Jim. It would be interesting to see them side by side.

Thanks Bob. I come from a graphic design background, so I seek photos that are highly ordered and structured. At Coyote Buttes South, the wide vistas are very disorderly, so I have a hard time shooting them because I cannot get the compositions I strive for. On a smaller scale though, that location has a lot to offer.
I like how the ridge lines have eroded into nothing. Natures patterns always hold my interest, especially when captured with such awesome detail... Natures graffiti...
Thanks all. Here's a shot of the setup to help show the entire scene a bit better. The 8x10 camera is bulky and heavy to carry around, but it's a joy to shoot with.
