One of the icons of the many scenes on the Isle of Skye. This is a cab ride to get to and often you get socked in with clouds. This trip gave us a different set of problems - bright sunshine and no clouds. Anyway, a neat place to see and worth the trip if you are on Skye. It is a sheer drop of hundreds of feet down to the sea from the cliff edges.
The lighthouse itself on the far northern end of the island is a functioning bed and breakfast and requires a long, hard walk to reach. Last I heard it is for sale in case anyone is interested. Any suggestions as to what I could do in post to add some drama to this is welcomed and appreciated.
I do not know the orientation of the cliffs, but early or late day light would probably add "drama" to the scene. None the less, I like this image for the way the cliffs direct the viewer to the lighthouse. Thanks for posting.
