#2 looks very good and you can see how good light is going to be your best friend. You will also notice the ones flying over the water will benefit from the reflected light from the water helping fill the underwings on exposure. #5 is a gorgeous shot, nice on Marty! Keep at it, watch your contrast levels in processing. You are doing a great job and improving each time as I see it

Thanks very much, Karl. I have learned quite alot posting and viewing at this forum. I realize that some shots are better than others, but the honest feedback really helps solidify in my mind what to try for. I have so many shots that were taken without any thought on how to set up to use the available light to my advantage.
This is quite a challenging endevour, probably why I enjoy it so much.
Here is a looser crop of #1. All my wildlife shots are with a Sigma 50-500.
