And just to show that the spiders aren't always the predators....I was about to shoot this yellow crab spider, when this small cinnamin ant came running into the picture, grrabbed the spider, and managed to get the spider upside down. Notice the legs are still free. By the time I could recompose for the next shot, the legs looked like they were tied at the knees. At this point, I think the spider was done.
