For what it's worth, I'm sure I could get more money for the lenses if I took the time and effort to post them on a site like this. But then I put myself in the buyer's place and wonder why anyone would buy expensive lenses from an unknown individual without actually seeing them or trying them out. I've sold lenses through Craigslist but always as face-to-face sales after the buyer agreed that the lenses were as advertised. I did a preliminary price check on KEH (I've had good luck buying from them) and it looks like they would offer me dramatically less money than my local dealer.
The notion of trading the two lenses for a 200 also occurred to me but the same issue applies. I would want to actually see the lens before buying it.
But people really do trust each other and would pay for high-dollar value items without seeing the actual thing ! 70-200 F2.8 L IS is bought/sold daily on FM B&S, and 300 2.8 IS is not that uncommon too, you see that every so often in here.
It comes down to how valuable your time is. For me, getting 60% from trading-in L lenses does not make much sense.
