Your comment worked just like a medicine of laughter. I've been wound pretty tight lately (for reasons we'll soon find out).

Actually, I had to crop quite a bit on that shot. I spent about an hour comparing the 5 or 6 versions of the crop, just to get the flow of the eye to feel right. Thanks for your question and the medicine of laughter, Mr. Witt.

I like this perspective very much. It is unique but this perspective gives a total different look to this image that would've been an usual BIF shot.
This is a text book example of the-out-of-the-box approach.

Certainly a keeper of a shot. If you begged me for suggestions I might go for just tiny bit more light. Sharpness etc are all obviously spot on. The balance of symmetry is very pleasing. If wishes were commands, a lower camera angle could be striking but who's to complain, nice shooting.
As for an "emotional message", hmmmm If I waxed whimsically here I might also be seen as delusional.
