A couple shots ahead of schedule on the humorous self-portraits.
Here's to hoping it brings a smile or chuckle! That's the aim.
If you're up to it, let me know if it worked!
Thanks!

Thank you, kind sir! That's what they told my wife at the hospital, just before they let me go. "There's nothing we can do."

Tim,
I looked at the top half of this shot and laughed my butt off.
Then I scrolled down to your Neanderthal-like legs and those red "cowboy" boots, and I fell to the floor with even more laughter.
Then my eyes scanned the room, and I became very concerned because it looks as though it might be your den, your stuff, your secrets.
Please keep these coming until they haul your crazy A** back to the farm.
And, oh .
Charlie
Steady - Thank you! I'm really happy you pointed out the specifics. Sometimes we (or at least I!) get lucky with certain aspects of a shot. All the things you mentioned were planned and cosidered, so it makes me feel good to know you noticed them!
Sniz - Thank you! Glad to know you got a laugh out of it!
Rhane - Ah....What I heard you say is, "You need a 5DII."
Charlie - Ha! No, not my room. I borrowed my nephew's room for this one! I wanted a "kid" environment. I'm all but empty nested.
Those red boots are actually ostrich, and purchased in Puerto Vallarta. Quite nice, but I knew they'd look funky with the processing.
Lastly, I appreciate the vote of confidence and encouragement behind the ribbing. I imagine one day I'll tell stories about this when I'm in "the home."
This is much better than you described during starbucks, really dig all the props through out the image, so much creativity goes in to your self portraits. I think a lot of times the viewer takes that for granted, Love the low angle capture here and the cowboy boots seal the deal. Awesome work Tim

Thank you, Ray!
I truly appreciate you acknowleding my shots and the thought behind them (no matter my skill!) I'm no good at this point in Photoshop with dropping in fakes, so it's all got to be real! But, that's a lot of the fun, too.
Was thinking the low angle would be best for the "overkill" them I chase, so thanks for noticing that, too!
Have a great 4th, buddy!

kind of like the scary looking clown at the circus, the one that gives kids nightmares
Clowns still kinda freak me out!
Thanks for mentioning the angle, Todd!
