This is the first time I've submitted here. I usually won't submit my stuff for critique, but I really like this composition and want to ask for your opinions/suggestions:
Haha..the corners were just from some photoshop action. I just wanted to see how it looked like if it was sorta framed. But taking it off isn't a bad idea. With respect to the candle flares, I can make them a little dimmer. Thanks for the input.
Actually, these are my friends and I did print and frame these pics side by side rather than top and bottom when I gave them the photos. But having them side by side is like spoon feeding the image to the viewer, which I didn't like. The dead space between the two is inherent if the photos are top and bottom, but the emphasis decreases by a lot when put side by side.
