You have had no other comments - perhaps because many hesitate to be unkind - and I don't mean this that way. For example: The lighting on the first one is poor - face in shadow Second one - poor location and lacks pop - see my quick effort third one out of focus plus the flare is ugly Do you have any more conventional shots from the occasion? sbeme Offline Dedicated FM Upload & Sell: On p.1 #4 · A few from yesterday's wedding I agree with Paul's assessment. 1. Focus is wrong or you need more depth of field. She is the main subject, so she must be sharper. He could either be in or out of focus depending on goal, choice of DOF. 2. Paul's rework improves. Crop feels tight at the top. I'm not sure background is so great. Its busy, distracting. Shallow DOF might have helped a bit. 3. Flare doesnt work for me. Building feels tilted down right. Contrast is low. 4 and 6. Definitely a good subject. 4 has less distraction in the background, whereas 6 has the red chair pulling the eye away from the subject. 4 would be better with the napkins removed, a bit sharper. DOF is well-chosen. Needs a bump in contrast. Hope this helps. Scott Jun 25, 2009 at 04:33 PM
