Great shot, Alan! The final crop is wonderful, and the larger size lets us see the row of spectators, too

Hi Alan,

I find the pano crop to be the strongest by a good margin.
Next year (or next month when the sun is on its way back) come a few days earlier, and get the sun right in the middle of that gap

Wow I love that cropped version! (pano). It really pulled the gulls out sitting on that rock, which made the image for me. Great shot Alan.

Sometimes, very little color can make for every bit as interesting image as one with the high drama color simply because the color that is available becomes all that more important to defining the image. And this one is a great example of such. GOOD work!
