p.1 #1 · HDR work

I'm looking for thoughts on this HDR blend I did. This is comprised of 9 images and was merged / re-worked in CS4. It's a little odd since the some of the water is flowing and some isn't, but I took this photo more for the chance to work with blending an HDR image together.
The blue light reflection on the right-hand side has been toned down a lot. I actually ended up using my selection wand to select that area in an underexposured image and pasted it on top of the final image.
Nikon D200 Tamron 12-24 9 exposures

ssnap - I think this is one of the (in my opinion) better HDR images. Loads of HDR images tend to look like a little too much foir my tastes. I don't have any suggestions for you - but I thought I would tell you that I think you did well on this.

I've tried a few HDR shots with trees/plants in the shot and the subtle "ghosting" that occurs from the wind moving the leaves creates what I think can be a really nice effect. I think the water in your image has the same quality that could even be enhanced. I'm not sure how you could work with it but moving water in HDR multiple images is going to be tricky.

I love the color/lighting though.

This stream probably wasn't the best choice for moving water, it wasn't terrible. This location is withing walking distance of my apartment so I gave it a shot.
I wonder how difficult it would be to use the selection tool to copy moving water from an exposure with the desired effect and paste that layer on top? That may prove extremely difficult.

great hdr work... but i do not know the with cloud that in the right of the images.. is it ghosting from the water flow?

Lovely shot, and very nice HDR work, but honestly, I find the four main reflections rather distracting. I'd rather see what's under them more clearly, say through the use of a polarizer. Especially the one front left center, it just sucks my eyes away from the composition above. I would love to see more of what is at the top of the water, is there a little waterfall, or tree or something, to draw your eye through the photo?

I agree with Jo. It's very nice, but the plasticy (is that a word?) look to the foreground water is distracting.
