I got this aftermarket GPS unit for my D200, and it also works with my D300. I just picked up a D90 as a backup, and the plug is different. I'd like to buy one that will work with both so I'm selling this one. It's worked perfectly for me so far, picking up a location fix very quickly.
According to the manufacturer it will work with the Nikon D3, D300, D700,D2XS, D2X, D2HS & D200, and Fujifilm S5 Pro. It has no switches because it turns on and off with your camera (it has a delay before turning itself off when you turn your camera off). It comes with a small clip to attach to your camera strap if you need to free up the hot shoe.
