Up for sale is my low mileage EOS 1D Mark II N. The camera is in excellent condition (the only reason I don't call it mint is because it has been used, but it hasn't got a mark on it that I can find). It has less than 11,000 actuations (10,016 as far as I can tell - I have two 1DIIN's in my Lightroom Archive, one was a loaner only used for a few images, and the total number of images out of both 1DIIN's is 10,177, so well under 11k either way).
I am the second owner of this camera, bought it from the original owner when it had only 3k actuations (he sold it to buy a 1DIII). The camera comes with everything originally included (box, manual, software, battery, all accessories, etc), as well as a second battery (not Canon, but actually higher mAH rating and just as good in real use), and an Acratech Arca-Swiss style QR plate.
So you get:
EOS 1D Mark II N body
body cap
User's Manual
software disks
original Canon battery
AC adapter and charger
USB and FireWire (IEEE1394) cables
... and anything else originally supplied with the camera (in case I'm forgetting anything now)
plus extras:
spare battery
Acratech QR plate (Arca-Swiss type)
All this for $2475 AUD ($1940 USD)
You can view the camera in person if you can get to Wollongong, NSW. I can supply references if you are wary of buying online. My website is www.rudiphoto.net, and you can check me out there and contact me through the "Contact" page if you like.
Thanks coppertop! I do ship worldwide, you know? There is actually quite a bit of interest, it's just that nobody has decided to actually spend their money yet. But thanks for the sentiment!
To ship to the US would be $40 USD, insured to the full purchase value. No risk! (I am splitting the cost, paying for about half of the actual cost of shipping and insurance at this rate).
OK folks, I have reduced the price one last time before going to eBay. The camera and all accessories, as listed above, everything for only $2475 AUD ($1940 USD).
All PMs answered. Also, to the person who left a message but no contact details on my voicemail - yes, the camera is still available, and yes, I will need a deposit if you want me to hold on to it until you get back.
Fully insured, and going by the Australia Post calculator, $67.85 to ship to postcode 3400. If it's less, I'm happy to refund the amount. I haven't actually taken the thing down to the PO, but might do that in the next day or so if you're seriously interested. Express Post works out cheaper (and faster), but it's less than $20 difference and cannot be insured.
(P.S. Insurance is the major part of the shipping costs).
