p.1 #1 · Have you tried firing 2 or more flashes with one cybersync receiver?

I'm anxiously awaiting the cybersync goodness.

Have any of you ever triggered TWO (or more?) flashes with the same receiver? I currently use my Cactus to fire either two 580Ex2s on a stick or two 580Ex2 + One Lumapro 120.

I fire these puppies by hooking them up to my modified Cactus V2 (I added a built-in PC cord in addition to the existing PC port) ... so I can have one flash on the hotshoe, one flash on the pc sync port and one flash on the sync cable I added and they're all controlled by the one receiver. Sweet!

Anyway... I'm wondering if at least two flashes can be controlled by ONE cybersync receiver by using a mono jack splitter.

Thanks!

Yep, give them a call they will help you out, the designer is also here so you could PM him.

Its pointless to bring this up, but you can really post gear specific questions in the relevant forums.

But yes, you certainly can fire two flashes with a mono splitter.

My apologies for a misplaced gear post.

In my "defense" I posted it here because I was hoping to find out if it worked, but also I figured that some wedding professionals might point out any problems they had in real life use if that were the case.

But I suspect anyone else who posts a gear question here would have the same motivation though, and I definitely don't want to see this forum turn into a gearfest. So allow me to step away from this thread with my head bowed down in .... ok I'm taking this a bit too far

Anyway... Thanks a bunch for all the answers!!!!
