Hi Rick,

Lots of looks but no comments. I'm no expert but here is what I see. Harsh sun/shadows make for some interesting colors on the green but a little busy. Hard to tell where the green begins/ends. I do see the ball in the air but it was difficult to find in the busy background.

For this shot to work, I'd want to get closer to the player and position it so that I was facing the fairway to get a clean background.

Yep, chipping is what you got.

I guess technically you didn't ask for C&C, which might be the reason for a large number of views and no comments. But I would agree with what John said; it really looks like something someone just snapped with a P&S.
