Ebay 16-channel triggers are as reliable as PW's. Use them for 2 years now. 1 Xmit + 2 Rec'v set for ~$35 USD shipped. Usually you can add additional bits (hotshoe adapters, additional recievers, cord adapters etc.) and save on shipping. Just search on "16 channel flash trigger" although I use the RD616 kind. The others just look... cheap.
The default kit includes the right adapters to plug in and fire AB800s, so no additional pieces are needed. A hotshoe adapter is needed to trigger any sort of hotshoe flash (580EX etc., although this opens up options on cheapies like Nikon SB-24's and Vivitar 283's)
