Does image # 4 use a totally rad action preset? Seems like I've seen the treatment on a few other images and always love it.... But haven't been able to get the same effect.
Or, is it a general b/w conversion, a bit of grain, and a bit of sepia treatment?
Can't complain about any of these, exactly what an engagement shoot should be.
Ring shot is great but the ring is weird as heck... oh well to each their own.
btw nice reflector
Doug
Tony,
Very nice set as usual... The color and WB is always spot on and supernatural. The outfits aren't killer, but I think they work... as a couple they look like they go together so that helps to pull it off. I'm not to keen on her smile in 1 and 2.. but like it in 6 and 7. They seem so happy. I love the compositional elements of 5, 8, 10 and 14... leading lines just taking my eyes on a tour of the pic... very nice. I love the ring shot and that is a dope ring... so cool. I can't stand the standard tiffany setting, so I love to see unique rings. I'm not a fan of 18 and 19.. the backlighting on 18 just isn't doing it for me and the bollard growing out of their heads is a little weird in 19... I like the compostion and shot otherwise, just not that bollard. I want to remove it. I love 20 and 22... those are the winners for me... classic, stop traffic love story, nice work. That is a dope reflector... please don't help me spend my money anymore.
2. I like the lines of the siding and the muted color but maybe without the tangled electric pole behind her.
4. Maybe a little too much sharpening for a girl's hands... starts to look stubbly and whiskery. Tiny (but bright) speck of dandruff that could be dabbled away on his coat.
5. Love the stairs and the rail and the carpet runner and the bg colors. But the left side is too cluttered, especially with the emergency light. Maybe work this into a portrait orientation?
6. Probably my favorite... love the texture of the fabric, love the expressions, love the splash of pop from her shoes, love the green wall with his green shirt, love the anchoring reflection on the table. Love the side light from the window.
8. Love the bar and the B&W, but it seems like I'm looking at a negative imagewith the strong backlight... they get lost in the contrast.
Angle and color on 9a is great. Not sure about the dumpster.
12. Interesting, but his crotch shot is too prominent, especially since his eyes are also drifting down.
