I'd like to hear some feedback. It's a first time I edited image to remove significant part of it. Does it look like it's been "photoshoped"? It does a little bit to me, but I'm never happy how my images come out anyways

I dunnow, Dom. The tree tree placement is really bugging me.

This might be one of those times when dead center works well.

Maybe something like this?

Clipping the corn reduces it's impact on the picture. IMO, the stalks are too busy, and tend to hog the scene.

More open sky is never a bad thing, IMO.

(I've been shooting a lot of 6x6 lately, and am probably VERY biased toward cropping to get a square format.

Greg may have a good idea just going for the tops. Here's a shot of a tree in a corn field in winter when there's only stubble left also going for the minimalist look...

For me the tree is in the wrong spot and woudl be better anchoring the frame and a more pano shot would improve.

Here is what I tried.

I would take the second frame and flip it so the tree was sitting at the junction of the first and second third, instead of the second and third third.

Not that you can edit this aspect of the image, but if you were to have taken the shot from a slightly higher angle, you would not see the green sides of the stalks on the bottom of the frame, but nothing but the tops all the way to the leading edge.

I have stood on the tailgate of my Tahoe to get a few feet higher for a few shots.

Dominik, now that I see the compo, I have to say it might look better at the second third. Sorry... How about a color replace on the green on the bottom edge of the frame?

I would probably vote for something along the lines of Scotts pano i think.

Dominik, nice pic -I believe the green stalks give the image debth and I think Scotts pano is super, difficult if not impossible to improve on that.
